While the lure of a sunny mainland European camping trip is very real, for some pale-skinned Irish holidaymakers, the potential extreme heat is a concern! Good to know that there are campsites here in Ireland nestled in some of the country’s most stunning locations. What better way for little ones to familiarise themselves with our beautiful island, without the dreaded fear of 40-degree-heat? With that in mind, here are our top campsite recommendations, plus their local hubs – should you need to get some work done (while grabbing a coffee!). Better yet? Many campsites have undergone a luxe makeover in recent years, with a host of beautifully located glamping options to choose from for your next coolcation (in every sense of the word!)
